I was so pleased I could work from the lodge, great WIFI, so peaceful.
The thing that sets this place apart for me is that Lisa and Nick clearly take such pride in what they do and genuinely care about making this the best experience possible for their guests. When you walk in, it looks, smells and feels so clean and tidy. Unlike some places who provide bare minimum, they are generous with things like toilet roll, dishwasher tablets etc. and I can't think of anything that the house didn't have that you might need.
The most important thing for me was that I wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful and the lodge delivered on this 100%. You are not overlooked at all. The owners are there if you need them, otherwise you are completely left to it. Our dog was in his element!
The house and garden are both beautiful and surrounded by lovely walks and places to visit locally.
